“Ray of Hope portraits was an amazing experience that I will never forget. When Amy contacted me to tell me we were nominated I was blown away. Amy and her team worked so hard to create such a fun photo session for my daughter. They were respectful of her medical needs and went above and beyond in their gifts and each detail. We felt loved and cared for before/during and after our session. That gave me a moment to not think about my daughters awful disease and just be a normal happy little girl. I will forever be grateful to Amy and her team and their hearts for families and kids like mine. Thank you to all those who donate to ROHP, your generous giving truly makes a difference for medically fragile kids and their families.”

"Miss Kinsley Jo absolutely loved every minute of her photoshoot with Ray of Hope. Everyone was so welcoming and made her feel so comfortable being in front of the camera! I actually think this experience helped her want to take more pictures, she absolutely loves when I get out my phone or camera now! The way they were so understanding with our other kids and welcoming with them as well was just so heartwarming and made the experience even better for our family. They went above and beyond for our little fighter and we are so blessed and so beyond thankful we were giving this opportunity with them! They have still continued to follow Kinsey’s fight with cancer which is something you don’t see very often, many people just do their “job” and move in to the next but this group of ladies will forever hold a special place in our hearts. We can’t thank Rays of Hope enough for this opportunity and we can’t forget the amazing pictures they took for us! Everything was just perfect that day. We have continued to follow them on their journey as well and have just been absolutely amazed by the work they have done for other families as well!"

"Wow, where to begin. Thank you so much for creating the perfect experience for Jace! The entire session was flawless, so thoughtfully put together, and incredibly special. This was the first time Jace has been anywhere besides the hospital, our home, or a park since he was diagnosed in February 2023. It was remarkable to see him instantly feel so comfortable around everyone, and truly enjoy every moment. It meant so much to us to see so much light and joy in his eyes, after so many very dark days. We are so grateful to have photos that we can share with friends and family, and finally update his picture frame on the wall at home, which has not been updated since before he was diagnosed. Thank you SO much!!"

From the moment we arrived it felt like we’d known you all for years! Everyone was so warm and welcoming. The way people jumped right in to play with the little kids and offering to hold the baby was so joyful. I could hardly believe all of the thought and effort that went into the details of the shoot. It was so much more than I’d imagined and I was floored. Theo can be a bit timid in new situations and you all made him so comfortable and brought out his real smile all morning! Having you all pray with us at the end was a huge highlight for me. It gave the whole morning such an added depth bringing Him into the space. We can’t thank you enough! I would love to be a part of your work in the future as a volunteer!

The whole experience was such a blessing! When Sahalie walked in and saw the extravagant room set up and all of the people there to greet her, it was the most precious pure excitement I have ever seen her have. I am not sure i have ever experienced that much joy in one room. So just the amount of joy that radiated from every person there, the volunteers and our family was my favorite part. I think Sahalie's favorite part might have been the cookies 😆. I loved how you included her sisters, they were having just as much fun as she was! It was such a memorable experience for our whole family! We were so blessed by this experience. This is a memory to last a lifetime!
